I began my work in the mental health field eight years ago as a direct support professional, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals navigating a range of mental health challenges in their homes. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of how mental health shows up beyond the therapy room, in relationships, and within the community, especially in moments when triggers arise. It continues to shape my approach, allowing me to offer support that feels practical, grounded, and meaningful outside of our sessions.

I earned my bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and my Masters degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University. I gained my clinical experience at the TWU Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic, where I worked with BIPOC clients navigating concerns such as grief and bereavement, life transitions, identity development, acculturation stress, burnout, intergenerational trauma, and immigrant related experiences. I am especially passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they make sense of their experiences and move toward healing.
